San Diego Mayor Bob Filner is in increasing hot water. A furor over his accepting money from the Mojahedin-e Khalq to speak at its May rally near Paris has grown much bigger as 16 women have come forward one-by-one in recent weeks to accuse the mayor of sexual harassment. Last week, opponents launched a petition drive to collect 102,000 signatures by September 26 in order to get a recall vote on the ballot in November.
