Education Minister Ali-Asghar Fani (photo) appeared before the Majlis Monday and failed to satisfy deputies with his answers to questions about K-12 education. In a vote after his appearance, 99 deputies voted that they were dissatisfied with his responses, 61 were satisfied and 11 abstained. This was not a vote of confidence, however, so Fani keeps his job for now.
