Dress cops undressed:

The daily Mardom Salari reports that the police Guidance Patrols, which have enforced the dress code for more than two years, have been removed from the streets of Tehran.  The daily quotes General Rejabzadeh, the Greater Tehran Police Chief, as saying there is no longer a problem with lax dress so that the patrols are no longer needed.  “The situation is back to normal,” the police chief said.  He added that the Guidance Patrol emblems have been removed from police vehicles and the officers who were assigned to the Guidance Patrols are now conducting routine police business.
