As reported in the last issue, soccer legend Ali Daei (photo) was barred in mid-February from leaving the country to attend a FIFA event in Switzerland to which he had been invited. That sparked an uproar among the public and, after one week, the government lifted its ban and permitted Daei and his wife to attend.
