It’s now been 13 months since Iran withdrew the license for New York Times correspondent Thomas Erdbrink (photo), a Dutch national, to report from Iran. He’s still living in Tehran with his Iranian wife, but the Times is handling all reporting on Iran from abroad. A Times spokesperson told Tablet magazine this month that Erdbrink would soon be given a new international assignment.
