Jailed activist Nargess Mohammadi (photo) has been allowed to telephone her children after 10 months with no communications. Her pre-teen son and daughter are living in France with their exiled father, Taghi Rahmani. Mohammadi was allowed to talk to the children, but not her husband. Mohammadi worked on the staff of the Center for Human Rights Defenders, which was founded and run by Nobel laureate Shirin Ebadi.
