Troops like those above carried out an exercise simulating the storming of what the Pasdaran said was the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, ending with the mosque being seized and the Iranian flag flying from its dome (top). The Pasdaran, however, failed their knowledge of Islam test as what they stormed was a replica of the Dome of the Rock, not the nearby Al-Aqsa Mosque, as shown in the aerial photo below.
