The regime’s much-publicized effort to convince people to switch from gasoline to natural gas in their cars has run out of steam. The Financial Tribune reports that production of cars able to run on compressed natural gas (CNG) has now stopped. It says that since the government hasn’t raised the price of gasoline, it is no longer economical to run cars on CNG and people have stopped doing so. The newspaper reported that CNG stations are now selling only half the CNG they are equipped to sell.
