Closure

The government usually closes down reformist publications, and it is still doing so.  But last week, for a change, it closed down a hardline weekly, Hemmat.  It was accused of libel and spreading lies.  Reports said the Revolutionary Court acted because Hemmat had published an article highly critical of Ali-Akbar Hashemi-Rafsanjani when the government is trying to lower the level of rhetoric about him.
