Can’t attack too much:

Almost every day, despite the Now Ruz holidays, some official attacks the UN vote, which appears to have surprised, stunned and stung Tehran.  The Iranian public has been told the Western scheme was to pressure Iran to make concessions, to divert attention from human rights abuses in the West, to save Israel from embarrassment and just about every other political plot known to mankind.  Back in the 1990s, when the UN previously had special rapporteur on Iranian human rights, Iran allowed him to visit once and then, after reading his report, never allowed him to return again.  It would be surprise if the new rapporteur, to be named in June, ever gets a foot in the door.  Tehran’s main problem appears to be that it didn’t see the vote coming and fears Majlis deputies attacking it for incompetence.
