Two Montreal men have been charged with illegally exporting American-made railroad equipment to Iran, violating Canada’s export laws. The Mounties said Michael Allen, 67, and Hugo Dreckmann, 75, are officers of Romic Marc Rail, a firm that sells locomotives and train parts. The Mounties said they believe the men sold almost $10 million in railway parts to Iran from 2007 through 2012.
