Camp Ayandeh is a program for high school students and graduating seniors designed to give them a better understanding of their Iranian heritage as part of the Diaspora. They also teach leadership skills and foster friendships.
The summer camps began in 2006. The camp will be held this year from July 3 to 11.
All the activities are conducted in English and no knowledge of Farsi is required. The cultural activities include exposure to the Iranian language, poetry, music, films and history.
The camp is run by Iranian Alliances Across Borders and details and an application form are available from the IAAB at www.iranianalliances.org.
