Sheldon Adelson (photo), an American casino billionaire who uses his wealth to bankroll the far right, says he has some advice for how President Obama should deal with Iran—drop a nuclear bomb in the middle of the Iranian desert. “In the middle of the desert, that doesn’t hurt a soul—maybe a couple of rattlesnakes and scorpions or whatever. And then you say, ‘See! The next one is in the middle of Tehran’.” He said after Iranians see that, they will be convinced to drop their own nuclear program.
