The Pasdaran announced September 26 that a fire at a “research center” in western Tehran had killed two staffers and injured two others. The Israeli satellite company ImageSat International later released these photos showing what it said was an explosion at a missile assembly plant operated by the Shahid Beheshti Industrial Group. The group handles Iran’s liquid-fueled missile program, including the Shahab-3, which is Iran’s main surface-to-surface missile. The regime is normally quick to blame Israel anytime its judges that an incident at a military factory is not accidental. But it has not so far blamed anyone for this incident.
