Big bang for the ruble

A Russian official says Iran and Russia are discussing an arms deal that could total—could—as much as $10 billion.  Viktor Ozerov, the chairman of the defense committee in the upper house of the Russian parliament, said talks cover T-90 tanks, planes, helicopters and artillery.  Sales of major arms to Iran must first be approved by the UN Security Council, where the United States could veto any sale.
