Baha’i teachers are put on trial

The six men and one woman were all teachers or organizers of the Baha’i Institute for Higher Education, an online university created after Baha’is were banned from attending Iranian universities.
The seven were to be defended by Abdolfattah Soltani, but he was arrested September 10. Soltani was affiliated with the Center for the Defense of Human Rights, which was created by Nobel laureate Shirin Ebadi.
