She was arrested in January along with nine other Baha’is, including her husband. All were blamed for fomenting the Ashura street protests of December 28, the last big street demonstrations. Another of those arrested, Leva Khanjani, was also sentenced to two years in prison. She is the granddaughter of one of the Baha’is recently sentenced to 10 years for being on the Baha’i leadership committee.
