It said Tornado GR-4 bombers would lead the assault by flying from a base in eastern England directly to Iran where they would fire Stormshadow cruise missiles at targets from as far as 350 miles away and then land in an unnamed Arab state from which future attacks would be launched. It said a Royal Navy submarine has been deployed to the Indian Ocean carrying an arsenal of Tomahawk cruise missiles that can hit targets 400 miles away.
