The car belonging to Majlis Deputy Ahmad Salek (photo) was attacked in Tehran July 14 by men firing from two motorcycles, a common assassination technique in Iran. But Salek was not in the car. The attackers injured his driver in the leg. Salek, 73, is a cleric and has represented Esfahan in the Majlis for 20 years.
