Al-Alam, the Arabic language TV station of Iranian state broadcasting, says American filmmaker Kathryn Ann Bigelow (photo), best-known for the blockbuster war films “The Hurt Locker” and “Zero Dark Thirty,” will make a documentary about the Shiite religious holiday Arbaeen with a $200 million budget. That’s huge. The news has been picked up all over Iran, but the Iran Times has found no news source other than Al-Alam.
