The Revolutionary Court in Tehran has convicted a third child of former President Rafsanjani. Fatemeh Rafsanjani (photo) was sentenced to six months, but all of it was suspended for two years, on conviction for slandering Judiciary Chairman Sadeq Larijani. Rafsanjani’s younger daughter, Faezeh, spent six months in jail on similar charges. His middle son, Mehdi, was arrested on charges of fomenting street protests after the 2009 elections, but was subsequently freed on bail and has not yet been called to trial.
