This funeral was held Tuesday in Kerman for Pasdar Brigadier General Mohammad Jamalizadeh, who was killed in Syria a few days previously by “Wahhabi terrorists,” the Mehr news agency said. He was the third Pasdar general reported killed in Syria. Mehr said he was not assigned to Syria by the Pasdaran. but had volunteered to go to defend the Shrine of Sayyida Zainab, a major Shiite site near Damascus.
