It is the fourth time in a row that the two teams have played to a scoreless draw. Some 100,000 fans packed the stands to see a gripping match. And they got a 0-0 draw. It’s been this way for years. The teams have played 78 times over the decades with Esteghlal (the Blues) winning 24 games, Persepolis (the Reds) winning 18 times and the other 36 matches all ending in ties.
