Another female weightlifter has apparently defected in Europe. Fatemeh Keshavarz (photo), the top Iranian female weightlifter at 71 kilos, disappeared from her hotel in Leon, Spain, with her passport taken from the team locker, while the team was in Spain for a competition. Two years ago, Yekta Jamali defected in Greece. She joined the Olympic refugee team this past summer.
