Yukio Amano, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), issued his warning in a speecvh to the UN General Assembly Monday.
He said talks with Iran intensified after the IAEA report in November 2011 that said the agency had “credible information that Iran had carried out activities relevant to the development of a nuclear explosive device.”
But Amano said efforts to persuade Iran to give more information on its nuclear program has so far produced “no concrete results.”
