A woman, Zahra Ershadi (photo), who currently works at the Foreign Ministry in Tehran has been named as a second secretary of Iran’s mission to the United Nations in New York for the first time. The Foreign Ministry has been naming women to more and more posts abroad, including as ambassadors.
