British comedian Michael Palin (photo) made history in 1979 with the Monty Python film, “The Life of Brian,” which satirized the life of Jesus. Palin recently told the Daily Mail that he had no problem spoofing Christianity or the queen, but there was one taboo he is too scared to violate—Islam. “We all saw what happened to Salman Rushdie and none of us want to get into all that,” Palin said. “It’s a pity, but that’s the way it is. There are people out there without a sense of humor—and they’re heavily armed.”
