senior official in the Obama Administration dealing with Iran full time, has rejoined the advisory board of the National Iranian-American Council (NIAC). Limbert first visited Iran with his parents, then returned as a Peace Corps volunteer and married Parvaneh Tabibzadeh. Later he joined the Foreign Service and was one of the two Farsi-speakers taken hostage in 1979. Limbert was a member of the NIAC advisory board before but had to resign when he held his post in the State Department.
