The Mojahedin-e Khalq last week said the Islamic Republic has moved its center for nuclear weapons research from a site in eastern Tehran to a more secure Defense Ministry site about 1.5 kilometers (1 mile) away to avoid detection. The group did not explain how the existing site was in danger of detection since the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has no authority to look at either site the Mojahedin identified. It can only go to sites previously identified by Iran as nuclear.
