The Iranian media have been touting stories that Britons think President Rohani should be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. The Guardian held a poll in which 76 percent of the 10,114 ballots were cast for Rohani and just 15 percent for second place Malala Yousefzai, the Pakistani girl shot by the Taliban. The huge margin for Rohani suggested that the Iranian government had people working overtime to cast ballots for Rohani. The poll was not a scientific survey, but just an Internet poll in which anyone can vote as often he or she likes.
