After leaving Israel, General Dempsey told The New York Times the US armed forces were better prepared to go to war with Iran now than a year ago. “We have better military options than we did a year ago,” he said. “That’s because we’ve continued to refine them. We’ve continued to develop technology. We’ve continued to train and plan.”
