IRNA is frequently guilty of sloppy research. In this case, Ms. Kazemi is at least the third Iranian woman to get to the top of Everest. The first two got there together in May 2005, seven years ago. (As the Iran Times was about to go to press, the Nepali government said four climbers had died on Everest this week and two others—an Iranian and a Czech—were missing. No names were given.)
