The Iran Times queried the UNHCR about the departures of Mojahedin members from Iraq. A spokeswoman said that, as of Tuesday, one member of the group had left for Belgium and a second had departed for Denmark while a third was scheduled to leave for Sweden. No others of 3,245 Mojahedin members are yet scheduled to leave Iraq for other shores.
The UNHCR said 1,675 members remain at Camp Ashraf while 1,570 have been shifted to Camp Hurriya near, where they are processed by the UNHCR for refugee status.
