The Fars news agency Monday quoted an unnamed source as saying the Telecommunications Company of Iran (TCI) had some technical problems that accidentally allowed Facebook and some other banned sites to be unblocked. It said all would be well and the blockade restored in a matter of hours. Of course, large numbers of Iranians are able to bypass the censor and get on Facebook even when TCI isn’t haven’t technical problems.
