That is not a modest adjustment, however; it is a claim that Iran has grown 13.7 percent in size!! The old figure the armed forces cited happens to be the number that is published in the CIA World Factbook. The new number is what appears in the Iran entry of Wikipedia. We find it interesting that the armed forces are now resorting to Wikipedia for their research.
