The Biden Administration sent a solitary B-1 bomber (photo) from the United States to fly the length of the Persian Gulf October 30. It was the first such flight ordered under Biden. Under the Trump Administration, B-52 bombers were sent from the US every few months to fly just outside Iranian territory in a clear warning that the US does not need forces stationed in the region to attack Iran. The Islamic Republic focuses on the US presence in the region as if that were the only military threat to Iran.
