Faced with angry criticism, Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi has told Majlis deputies that Iran has taken legal action to compel Russia to pay a penalty for breach of contract with its decision not to sell the S-300 air defense missile system to Iran. The reports on the meeting do not indicate that Vahidi said where Iran has filed suit or how much it is asking for.
