Iranian-American candidate in its summary of the November elections in the last issue.
The 18th Iranian-American candidate was Ardavan Davari who ran unsuccessfully to serve on the board of the Water Replenishment District of Southern California, Division 5. There were nine candidates for the post. Davari came in eighth with 7 percent of the vote or 17,815 ballots.
With the addition of Davari, the Iran Times has found 18 Iranian-Americans who ran in the November elections with seven winners, 10 losing and one going on to a run-off election next year.
