The Pasdaran have announced that Brig. Gen. Qodra-tollah Mansuri (photo), who fought in Syria and the Iran-Iraq War, accidentally killed himself by shooting himself in the head while cleaning his pistol. Since 2014, Mansuri has been commander of Pasdar ground forces in Mashhad.
