Iran’s delegation to the UN has asked the Security Council to condemn US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo for saying he wishes to “starve” the Iranian people. But Pompeo did not say that; he said the Iranian government was starving its people by diverting funds from food to support wars in Syria, Yemen and elsewhere.
