Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani says Ameri-cans are hatching plots to plunder the wealth of the region and some gullible countries have fallen into the US trap.
While visiting Pakistan last week, Larijani told his Pakistani counterpart, Mian Raza Rabbani, “The Americans are after sacking the Islamic countries and that’s why they have new plots and some countries get deceived by them.”
Larijani said all should be grateful to President Trump for making his policies obvious to all. “The Americans have long been the same as what they are today, but they used to frame the issues differently by playing with words,” he said.
He underlined that Americans have been unsuccessful in Afghanistan, Iraq and other countries. “But currently they are trying to put the blame on someone else and they will keep following this path,” he said.
The Pakistani speaker reportedly also condemned Trump’s policies and said the US president has been trying to blame Pakistan for the spread of terrorism in Afghanistan.
“This is while Pakistan has lost 70,000 of its security forces, women and children in the path of fighting terrorism and many others have been injured,” Rabbani was quoted in the Tehran media as saying.
