WHERE TO GO — The price of an OPEC barrel is just marking time for the moment while the market tries to decide if oil producers who have pledged to cut their output really will do so in an effort to drive up prices. The price is cycling about in the low $50 range, nowhere near where OPEC wants to see it. That fact may encourage better compliance with the pledges.
