The Daily Times of Pakistan says Iran has agreed to negotiate a new Gas Sales Purchase Agreement covering the incomplete Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline. The existing agreement, under which gas deliveries should have started a few years ago, is a dead letter. Talk of a new agreement suggests the two countries are serious about trying to revive the plan.
