Mohammad-Reza Bahonar, a long-time conservative member of the Majlis until this year, says that Mir-Hossain Musavi (photo), who has been under house arrest for 5 1/2 years, turned down an offer of freedom because it would have required him to stay out of politics the rest of his life.
