The Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association gave Arsalan Kazemi (photo) 13 minutes of playing time in their pre-season game against the Miami Heat Saturday night. “I liked what I saw,” Rockets coach Kevin McHale said. “He was quick; he was active; he was aggressive.” Kazemi pulled down six rebounds and scored two points. Whether he will get a berth on the team for the regular season remains to be seen; the team still must cut some of its players. Kazemi, who played college ball for Rice in Houston for three years, got a home there after graduating.
