The Culture Ministry has granted a three-week visa to a reporter for The Forward, the leading and the oldest Jewish newspaper in the United States. The visa may have been tendered because The Forward is often critical of Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. The Forward got the visa about the same time the BCC World Service (not the Farsi service) was allowed to enter Iran for one week to film a feature story.
