Ali-Akbar Parvizi, the governor general of Khorasan North province, sounds like he would do quite well in the US Tea Party. He recently attacked the program of cash payments to Iranians, saying the welfare sapped the limited work ethic of the poor in villages and left them with little interest in boosting production.
