The Iranian Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization says it has now added the numbers of Iranian expatriates visiting Iran to its statistics on foreign visitors, thereby expanding the numbers, even though it insists expats are Iranian citizens. ICHTO also announced the nine countries that send the most visitors to Iran. Eight share land or sea borders with Iran. The only one that does not is India.
