Tehran will begin before Now Ruz. Mayor Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf says Iranian traditions will be taken into account to make sure the new parks are redolent of Iranian culture. The first of the four parks is to be name “Tehranland,” which seems to speak more of Disneyland than Iranian culture.
