In our December 31 issue, we reported on a Tennessee court finding Jahangir Shaffighi (photo) guilty of a rape and sexual battery of a pre-teen. The 62-year-old has now been sentenced to a whopping 25 years in state prison. The crime was committed three decades ago. Shaffighi fled to Iran to avoid trial, but tried to slip back into the US in 2016 and was nabbed by immigration agents at the airport.
